General Terms and Conditions (GTC) of FUTUROMUNDO

(A). GTC for FUTUROMUNDO Events

1. General Provisions

The following General Terms and Conditions ("GTC") apply to all ticket sales made by Futuromundo GmbH i. Gr., Baumreute 53, 70199 Stuttgart ("Organizer") in connection with FUTUROMUNDO events and to their visitors.

2. Ticket Orders / Applications for Masterclasses and Side Events

Tickets can be ordered – subject to availability – for the main conference, the FUTUROMUNDO NIGHTSHIFT (party), and other events hosted by the Organizer. The ticket price is due immediately, and the payment method provided by the visitor will be charged directly after the order is placed.

The contract is concluded in German. The Organizer, together with the respective person responsible for the content of a masterclass ("Speaker"), will select from among the applicants. Selected applicants will be notified separately. There is no entitlement to be admitted to a masterclass. Selected participants’ data will be passed on to the company hosting the masterclass to enable further exchange during and after the event. Admission to a side event is also not guaranteed.

The Organizer processes and uses personal data of visitors solely for the purpose of processing the ticket order, organizing the event, and maintaining communication before and after the event. In the case of a masterclass application, salutation, first and last name, email address, and company/institution of the applicant will be shared with the respective speaker or side event host. For more information, please refer to our [privacy policy].

3. Ticket Returns / Event Cancellation or Rescheduling / Right of Withdrawal / Promo Codes

Purchased tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged. Cancellations by the participant or the organizer are not permitted, including in cases of illness or other personal reasons. Tickets may only be returned in the event of cancellation or unreasonable rescheduling of the event. A rescheduling is deemed unreasonable if the new date or venue is not reasonably acceptable to the visitor.

This does not apply if the cancellation or rescheduling is due to force majeure (see section 5).

Cancellations or reschedulings will be promptly announced on the Organizer's website. In such cases, the ticket price will be refunded. Announcements of exhibitors, speakers, or topics are non-binding and subject to change.

According to § 312g para. 1, para. 2 no. 9 BGB, there is no statutory right of withdrawal for ticket purchases, even if ordered by a consumer (non-business).

4. Promo Codes

Promo codes are discount codes issued by the Organizer for a specific person or group and/or for a limited time, reducing the ticket price during checkout. By using a promo code, the user confirms they are authorized to use it.

The sale or transfer of promo codes to third parties outside the intended purpose is prohibited. Single-use codes become invalid if passed on and do not grant access to the event.

If promo codes are misused, the Organizer reserves the right to cancel the corresponding ticket purchase (unilateral right of withdrawal) and refund the ticket. Misuse includes use by unauthorized individuals, or sharing the code via social media or other public or private channels. In cases of known misuse, the Organizer may invalidate the promo code entirely.

5. Transfer and Expiry of Tickets

Tickets are personal and non-transferable. If tickets are not fully completed (name, surname, email) by the day before the event, they expire and no longer entitle the holder to entry.

The rules in section 4 apply to the transfer of promo codes.

6. Force Majeure

If the event cannot take place due to circumstances beyond the Organizer’s control, such as force majeure, national mourning, weather, strikes, or war, the Organizer is not liable for any resulting losses or damages. Ticket refunds are excluded in such cases.

7. Entry to the Event

Visitors must present a valid ticket at the entrance without being asked. As tickets are personal, they may be required to show official photo ID. Upon admission, the visitor receives a non-transferable badge or wristband, which must be worn throughout the event, especially for re-entry.

The Organizer reserves the right to deny entry to persons who appear aggressive, offensive, or under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Weapons or dangerous objects are prohibited on the premises.

8. House Rules / Ambush & Guerrilla Marketing

The Organizer exercises house rights at the event. Instructions must be followed. The venue’s house rules also apply. Violations may result in exclusion from the event. Unauthorized ambush or guerrilla marketing may lead to immediate removal. Further claims remain unaffected.

9. General Limitation of Liability

The Organizer is fully liable for damages caused intentionally or by gross negligence and for injury to life, body, or health. For simple negligence, liability is limited to typical and foreseeable damages and only applies when breaching essential contractual obligations.

Any liability under the Product Liability Act remains unaffected.

These limitations also apply to agents and representatives of the Organizer.

10. Special Liability for Cloakroom Use

If the Organizer offers a free cloakroom, the following conditions apply:

  • Visitors must not deposit valuables, data storage devices, payment cards, or tickets.

  • The Organizer is only liable for damage or loss caused by intent or gross negligence by its agents.

  • Liability is limited to €500 per visitor.

11. Usage Rights

(1) By submitting content (text, images, etc.), you grant FUTUROMUNDO the exclusive, unlimited right to use, publish, and distribute this content across all media, including social networks, websites, and apps. This includes the right to sublicense or transfer to third parties.

FUTUROMUNDO is not responsible for the content submitted. You remain solely responsible and ensure you hold all necessary rights. FUTUROMUNDO only provides storage.

(2) You guarantee that you have the necessary rights to upload content to the FUTUROMUNDO platform and release the Organizer from all third-party claims (including legal costs) arising from any rights violations.

12. Data Protection

The Organizer uses personal data solely for ticket and event processing. For masterclass applications, name, company, and job title may be forwarded to the respective speaker for selection. Further information is available in our [privacy policy].

If the visitor consents, their data may also be used for marketing or shared with third parties (e.g., exhibitors). Consent may be withdrawn at any time by contacting: hello@futuromundo.com.

13. Miscellaneous

The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Stuttgart, provided the visitor is a registered business.

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Consumers residing outside Germany may also rely on the law of their country of residence.
