Because only together do we unleash the power to promote initiatives and implement concrete projects that will bring our world of tomorrow to life.
Become part of this movement! Let's build a bridge to a better world together and drive the future forward with energy and vision – with your company, your initiative, or your own energy.
The people behind FUTUROMUNDO

Initiator und Co-Founder
Kai-Erik Ströbel
"I'm doing FUTUROMUNDO because I want to contribute to the urgently needed mindset change."
Kai-Erik Ströbel is a versatile entrepreneur, serial founder, and mentor with extensive experience and a network spanning from Silicon Valley to the European music industry. As a prop-tech pioneer and early investor in ZoundIndustries, now Marshall Group, with annual revenue of €500 million, he has established himself as a precise analyst. Among other roles, he served as Managing Director of the global market leader Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG, where he also gained experience in organizing major events and trade fairs, such as DRUPA.
"I am convinced that we need a mindset change in Germany. With Futuromundo, we want to do our part to get this started."

Co-Founder and Managing Director
Gordon Sommer
"Growing up in a freedom-loving hippie family, I began my first self-employment while still in school. Parallel to my industrial engineering studies, I enjoyed initial success with our advertising and internet agency, which already had 40 employees just 18 months after its founding. This created space for further entrepreneurial adventures: We founded a venture capital incubator with an SAP founder, a consultancy for digital business models, and a social media agency for viral applications.
At the end of 2023, after 30 years in the advertising industry, we sold the agency to make a fresh start.
I walked 1000 km barefoot on the Camino de Santiago to find clarity."
"I'm happy to have a team with my brother Leo and FUTUROMUNDO that, like me, believes in a bright future if we courageously pursue change – together. That's what drives me. That's FUTUROMUNDO."

Co-Founder
Leonard Sommer
He began his professional career as an entrepreneur in the advertising agency sector immediately after studying communication design in Florence. Together with his brother Gordon, he founded the creative agency SOMMER+SOMMER in 1994, which was sold in 2023.
He received an EMBA in Creative Leadership from the Berlin School of Creative Leadership
"The Classroom Thinktank initiative is committed to a future-oriented learning culture and promotes creativity instead of conformism in schools. We drive change with practical methods from the creative industries and global educational thought leaders.
FUTUROMUNDO offers me a platform to spread the mission of the Classroom Thinktank initiative and finally make a difference together with my brother again."

Carolin Güthenke brings 25 years of experience in business, primarily in the automotive and truck industries. She was Head of Marketing at smart and has been advocating for negative emissions technologies for several years. These technologies are not only key to reversing climate change, but also offer Germany the opportunity to develop a new industrial sector.
"With Futuromundo, we not only want to highlight the innovative power of our economy, but also focus on the role of education and our pupils, students, and teachers. All of this paired with the flair of a festival. Because only where ambition, hard work, and the necessary ease for creativity come together can great things emerge."
