Rethinking mobility –
Relearning creativity
On July 3, 2025, TecNet Digitalization presented groundbreaking innovations in the field of mobility at FUTUROMUNDO – including UNIO (5G via satellite) and the Vortifer Drive, a new type of vortex propulsion system. A highlight was the visionary presentation by David "Shingy" Shing, who offered an inspiring insight into the digital skills of the future.
On July 4, the Stuttgart Region Economic Development Agency followed with an insight into CYANOTYPES, the EU project on future skills in the creative industries – with exciting contributions from Soenke Zehle (K8) and regional stakeholders such as Monica Menez.

SPEAKERS

Two technologies, one vision: Rethinking mobility – connected, intelligent and future-proof.
Following the two specialist lectures, the internationally renowned Digital Prophet David „Shingy“ Shing places the presented technologies in the current global and digital environment.
For the final exchange and networking, we welcome the speakers of the Futuromundo Multi-Conference + Festival

UNIO Enterprise is developing the backbone of permanent connectivity with the vision of a LEO constellation by 2030 (currently already two satellites in orbit). The intelligent combination of 5 G technology and satellite communications based on an AI switch creates a seamless network – available anytime, anywhere.
UNIO enables automated switching between terrestrial and satellite links, overcoming dead spots precisely where other systems reach their limits.
The mobility of the future is being rethought – smart, secure and satellite-based.

Vortifer Drive is a revolutionary drive technology from the Stuttgart region based on the physical principle of the torus vortex. The combination of engine power, flow velocity and an optimized disc geometry creates a three-dimensional air vortex that ensures stable lift, outstanding controllability and exceptional energy efficiency. The technology offers innovative solutions for various industries – from aviation and the automotive industry to energy generation, transport & logistics and plant engineering.
With Vortifer, mobility and energy production can be completely rethought: efficient, sustainable and ready for the challenges of the future.

David Shing — widely known as “Shingy” — is an Australian futurist, speaker, creative director, strategic digital advisor, and entrepreneur. Known for his performative personality and his polarizing nickname “Digital Prophet,” Shingy is a multidimensional creative who specializes in advising brands on inventive and sustainable strategies to enhance digital brand value. He helps global companies identify opportunities through innovative uses of digital, social, and mobile media.

What skills for creatives
are really important tomorrow
An introduction to the European learning model for the cultural and creative industries. CYANOTYPES has compiled the 25 most important future skills for the creative industries. What will be important in the future – and why? And how is this intended to make a lasting positive change to the training and continuing education landscape? CYANOTYPES is a European project that provides answers.
SPEAKERS

The project brings together a diverse community of organisations, actors and European networks to respond to the changing needs and skills gaps in the CCI sector.
INSPIRED by the iron-based photographic process that gave its name to the original „Blueprint“, CYANOTYPES embodies this crucial moment of innovation. This practice exemplifies the interplay between art and technology – a field of experimentation that continues to inspire creatives today.
*We thank the European Union for its support in making CYANOTYPES and its activities possible. CYANOTYPES is part of the „Alliances for sectoral cooperation in the field of skills“ and is co-financed under the European Commission's Erasmus+ programme.

CYANOTYPES is an EU project that provides answers.
At its core is an innovative competence framework that addresses the pressing challenges of digital, green and social change and connects them with concrete learning paths. The CYANOTYPES Framework is an open tool for cultural workers, organizations, policy makers* and educational institutions. It is about developing new skills, promoting creative agency and building local learning ecosystems.
Learn how CYANOTYPES combines artistic thinking with strategic learning,Competencies such as „working with values“, „narrative design“ or „collective action“ are systematically taught and a new depth of learning is opened up with triple loop learning.
Sönke Zehle is a media theorist – he writes, teaches and curates on topics related to collaborative research projects at the interface of art, technology and design. He is co-founder of the xm:lab – Experimental Media Lab at the Saar Academy of Fine Arts, associate scientist at the Ubiquitous Media Technologies Lab (German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence) and co-founder and managing director of the K8 Institute for Strategic Aesthetics gGmbH, the university's non-profit research and technology transfer organization. He is also a member of the interim team of program directors of the new EIT Culture & Creativity.

How does creativity change when you go from image maker to prompter?
In this talk, I will talk about my journey as a photographer and director into the AI world – doubts, loss of control, and new possibilities. I show how artificial intelligence does not replace, but expands – and why „stay creative“ needs more courage today than ever before.
Monica Menez is a photographer, director and one of Germany's most famous AI artists. With her collective Synthetic Styles, she explores the intersection of creativity and artificial intelligence – visual, conceptual and critical. She works internationally for brands and magazines and brings her experience in fashion, film and art to the future discussion.

For 40 years, VISUELL has asserted itself in the transformation of the creative industries. Change is needed to survive. Personal experience from practice shows which future skills and soft skills help to overcome current and future challenges in the industry.
